In the »Cognitive Agriculture« project, eight Fraunhofer Institutes are conducting research in the field of smart farming to enable farmers in a digitalized world to achieve high productivity in line with goals such as  resource efficiency and product quality.



The »H2Wood - BlackForest« project aims to tap into wood waste from the Black Forest as a local resource for the production of biohydrogen and bio-based products in order to create regional added value.



The purpose of the joint project Carbon2Chem® is to turn industry process gases such as smelting gases from steel production into a valuable source of carbon for the chemical industry. 



As part of »HypoWave+«, the Fraunhofer IGB is working on the digitalization of processes used in vegetable production. To this end, the team is coordinating the work on integrated data acquisition and control of water treatment.
