With the Rapid Inverter Control Prototyping System RICOSO, controls for energy storage systems or inverters can be developed and tested quickly, reliably and safely.

The system consists of highly dynamic power amplifiers, a modular development environment and optimized, integrated libraries.

As a development system for energy storage systems with a grid connection, for e.g. charging technologies, e-mobility, electrolysers or battery converters, it provides the equipment for hardware-in-the-loop development and testing.

With the help of direct integration of accurate and high-performance electrochemical energy storage simulations using the BaSiS software package as a virtual battery, energy storage systems with and without grid connection can be tested and optimized quickly and reliably.

This allows development cycles to be accelerated while optimizing costs.

The Battery Simulation Studio (BaSiS) allows accurate and rapid development and optimization of cells, energy storage devices, packs, associated components and management systems.

It has been used for years in the development of mobile devices, automotive, plants, aerospace and aeronautical engineering. Due to its proximity to research, BaSiS allows electrochemical simulation and emulation of lithium-ion and beyond lithium-ion batteries, fuel cells, electrolyzers and supercapacitors.
