GridFox - Power Flow Forecasts

The energy transformation leads to radical changes in the power supply system. Especially, the requirements for electric distribution grids change massively. New consumers like electric vehicles and heat pumps lead to higher peak powers and altered consumption behavior. Generation of electric energy, e.g. by photovoltaics, takes place within the distribution grid increasingly and leads to modified power flows. Not least, the digitalization provides massive amounts of data, which can help to satisfy the new requirements.

GridFox forecasts power flows precisely and enables grid operators to operate their grids efficiently. Furthermore, GridFox ist able to determine and forecast the covered generation and consumption components to increase the transparency within the grid. GridFox uses various data sources to predict the time and weather dependent components as accurately as possible.
