The 2025 EUMETSAT Meteorological Satellite Conference will take place in Lyon, France from 15 to 19 September. EUMETSAT will be joined in the organisation and hosting of the event by Météo-France, the national provider for weather and climate services in France.

We welcome both presentations which shed light on issues and solutions in field operations as well as scientific aspects. The forum serves to connect experts from both areas. Large Bearing Laboratory has been conducting research in wind turbine bearings for more than ten years. The idea of holding our own conference has been there for a few years now, but this year we take the leap and get to it. The forum will have talks about the latest advances (and also prevailing issues) of wind turbine bearings, great opportunities for networking, a tour through the facilities of the Large Bearing Laboratory and an evening event in the castle of Bergedorf on September 23, 2025.

Together with the Centre for Solar Energy and Hydrogen Research Baden Württemberg (ZSW), the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) and the ipv of the University of Stuttgart, Fraunhofer ISE is organising the 4th Perowskit Workshop Baden-Württemberg on 2 October 2025.
